Mixtec Maxtec

The title of this piece is derived from the fact that it is constructed from modern materials, but displays influences from cultures around the world ranging from the ancient Mixtec peoples of Mexico, right through to pop-art pictures of John Lennon's glasses.

This piece was displayed at the North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford, and at the "Sylvansmiths" exhibition. It was also shown as part of the Oxford Artweeks exhibition. It has also been seen at Sculpture on the Farm (Stewkley), Chedworth Roman Villa, and Sculpture Heaven.
