Flowers from spent armaments, ready to sling mayhem (or pollen) in
all directions. The faux botanical name 'Ballistarius pentapulta' is
derived from 'ballistarius': actually a real word meaning 'maker of
ballisters (slingers)'; 'penta': five stems and flowers; and 'pulta':
part of catapult.
Materials: brass, copper, bronze, shell cases
Dimensions: 30" x 18" x 18" (76cm x 46cm x 46cm)

This piece was shown at the Royal Landscape Savill Gardens Sculpture Exhibition in Windsor Great Park, and at Showborough House. It has most recently been seen at The Elemental Sculpture Park and Kiftsgate Court Gardens. This year, it can be seen at Rodmarton Manor in September.
